Checklist for UTM
- Only one question mark: A URL can only have one "?". The rest must start with "&".
- No strange signs: Avoid #, & or = inside your own names.
- Use lowercase letters: Google distinguishes between "Email" and "email".
- Spacing: Replace spaces with underscores (_) or hyphens (-).
- No duplicates: Make sure "https://" does not appear twice.
Why use UTM?
Without UTM, traffic will often show as "Direct". With UTM, you can see exactly which source is driving sales.
